in very good condition.  It is made from fine quality cotton and is hand sewn.  The bodice has an insert of pin tucks and lace.  The gown measures 86 centimetres in length.  The matching petticoat is full length and edged with pin tucks   Circa 1880 the Gown has apparently been used by generations of the same family since then.

In fine cream wool and quilted ivory silk, with handmade silk tassels. Probably Victorian.  The cloak is 85 centimetres long and measures 146 centimetres at the widest part.  The quilted section shows some wear, particularly around the collar, but otherwise in good condition for its age.
